Tax Agent Information

Information for our clients

Last updated: 3 July 2026

Super Nice Advice Pty Ltd (ABN 37 623 908 118) is a registered tax agent regulated by the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB). The law that governs tax agents, the Tax Agent Services Act 2009 and its Code of Professional Conduct, requires us to give you the information on this page. It covers how to check our registration, what we must do for you, what we need from you, and what to do if you are ever unhappy with our service.

1. Our registration and the TPB register

The Tax Practitioners Board maintains a public register of all registered tax agents and BAS agents. Only registered agents may lawfully charge a fee to provide tax agent services. You can verify our registration, and that of any other tax practitioner, by searching the TPB Register for Super Nice Advice Pty Ltd.

Our registrations are:

  • Super Nice Advice Pty Ltd — registered tax agent no. 26087928
  • Isaac French — registered tax agent no. 26086918

2. Our obligations to you

As a registered tax agent, we must comply with the Code of Professional Conduct. Among other things, we must:

  • act honestly and with integrity;
  • act lawfully in your best interests;
  • manage conflicts of interest and tell you about any that affect you;
  • keep your information confidential unless we have a legal duty to disclose it or your permission;
  • take reasonable care to establish your state of affairs and apply the tax laws correctly to your circumstances;
  • provide our services competently and maintain our professional knowledge and skills;
  • not knowingly obstruct the proper administration of the tax laws;
  • advise you of your rights and obligations under the tax laws that relate to the services we provide;
  • keep proper records of the services we provide to you;
  • not make false or misleading statements to the ATO or the TPB, and in limited circumstances the law may require us to correct or report a false or misleading statement; and
  • maintain professional indemnity insurance that meets the TPB's requirements.

We must also notify the TPB of certain significant matters, including significant breaches of the Code of Professional Conduct, and keep our registration details up to date.

3. Your obligations to us

For us to do our job well, and for you to get the full protection of the law, you need to:

  • give us complete and accurate information, on time, so we can provide our services and meet lodgment deadlines;
  • tell us about anything that could affect your tax affairs, including changes to your circumstances;
  • keep the records the tax laws require you to keep (generally five years);
  • review the documents we prepare before you approve them — you remain responsible for the accuracy of the information in your own returns and statements; and
  • pay your tax debts, or engage with the ATO about payment arrangements, on time.

4. Safe harbour protection

Because we are a registered tax agent, "safe harbour" provisions in the tax law may protect you from certain ATO administrative penalties (for example, for late lodgment, or a false or misleading statement made carelessly) where you gave us all relevant and correct information on time and the error was ours. This protection is one of the key benefits of using a registered agent, and it depends on you meeting your obligations in section 3.

5. Matters we are required to disclose

The law requires us to tell you about certain events in the last five years (such as suspension of registration, bankruptcy, or relevant convictions) and about any conditions on our registration. As at the date of this page, there are no such events or conditions to disclose. If that ever changes, we will update this page and tell affected clients directly within the timeframes the law sets.

6. If something goes wrong: complaints

Step 1 — talk to us

If you are unhappy with any part of our service, please contact us first — most concerns can be fixed quickly. Email isaac@supernice.au or call 0401 875 472. We will acknowledge your complaint promptly, look into it, and give you a written response.

Step 2 — complain to the Tax Practitioners Board

If you are not satisfied with our response, or you prefer not to raise it with us, you can complain directly to the TPB using its online complaints form at tpb.gov.au/complaints. The TPB will acknowledge your complaint, assess it against its risk framework, and may investigate. Its decisions are subject to review rights, and making a complaint to the TPB is free.

7. More information

The TPB publishes plain-English guidance on what you can expect from a registered tax practitioner, including the factsheet "Information for clients". General information about the tax system is available from the ATO. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information.
